Cadet Leader's Camp 2008

Unfortunately, All good things must come to and end .
Today is the last day of the NCO/CL Camp for this year .
And it was my batch's turn to be trained .
Like I was saying in the previous posts,
I was really scared . WOOHOO .
However, when it's the camp itself , I felt ok :D .
hahahaha .
Funny hor ?
Well, expect no details about the camp from me .
Because , how should i put it .
Like keep the enjoyment to myself .
Ah . sounds wrong .
It's like keep the fun and the experience to ourselves .
Because it won't fun anymore if many people knows right ?

Day One .
I woke up quite late and i was INDEED late for school . AWWW .
We have D&T and I brought along my box .
I forgot what I did that day so I will fast forward to the CAMP .
Group Two is consisting of Rey, Edwin, Jeichiel, Abbas, Izza, WeiQi and Eng Kiong
With SGT SHENGGUAN as our group i/c .
Lectures and NIGHT WALK for this day .

Day Two .
Woken up by the SGTs .
and did our Physical Training led my SIR IVAN.
Breakfast .
Went to Pasir Ris .
Unfortunately, it rained , therefore we did some team building games .
Lectures about Campcraft, Reflection, Leadership and Drills .

Day Three from 12am .
We did our reflection separately .
and had our Sentury Duty with SGT SAKINAH and JINGMENG .
FYI, I drank a Coffee + Milo made by her .
Sleep at 4.15am . and woke up at 6.30am .
again did our Physical Training led by SSGT ZIWEI and SSGT JONATHAN
Played some water games :D .
and debrief + Prize Presentations .

The Phone Call
A girl quickly punches a number into her phone and waits until she hears the other line pick up.

“Becky, I don’t know what to do, I really don’t. I love him so much and I don’t think he thinks of me that way. I mean, whenever I see him or think of him, I can’t help it, this smile comes across my face. Sometimes he sees me smiling and smiles back. That’s when my knees turn to jello and I get butterflies in my stomach. I know you think that he’s is so totally adorable and cute, but if you look past that and actually listen to what he has to say, you find a totally different person. He’s so caring and considerate and he makes me feel like I don’t deserve him. Well, actually, I don’t deserve him. He’s too perfect, I mean, look at all the girls that fall over for him. I could never be one of those. Their all so pretty and bubbly and….. not me. I couldn’t even start to compare myself to them. But whenever I think of him or see him, I can’t help it, I smile. Now I didn’t tell you this but he called me the other day about homework. I tell you now, I made a complete fool of myself. I’m so embarrassed. I stuttered the whole time, but he was so sweet and just kept talking and making me feel better. He’s so perfect Becky, I don’t deserve him, so why do I keep wishing and praying that he will notice me, why?............Becky? Becky are you there?”

“This isn’t Becky.”

Petrified the girl asks, “Then who is this?”

“ This is the guy who’s smile turns your knees to jello and I just wanted to say one thing. Everything you just said now, I’ve been wanting to say since the day I met you.”

ATTITUDE PROBLEM

If we learn to live with this philosophy then this attitude problems would be day of past and we will completely forget that what is this attitude problem and we can lead this life in peace and fun and gaiety. Once this fundamental of life is understood then we would be left with no attitude problems.

What is this attitude problem? – Attitude problem has to do with us only. It is like inbuilt in our attitude and we get into the habit of criticizing everything coming to us. We forget that life in not the name of crying and demonizing things, that is attitude problem, but it is about taking things in your stride.

It takes time to learn to take things coolly and for taking things in your stride but you have to work for it and sooner or later you starts taking in that way. That is the moment when you get away with the attitude problems. An attitude problem is not the part of personality, as it can be inculcated over a period of time.

How to overcome it? – I know that it is the question looming in your mind and it shows that now you have also started thinking that attitude problem is something we can change and believe me for sure we can change it. Thinking about this issue is the first step that you want to get on the life in right manner.

Well the right approach to correct attitude problem is to take you, yourself seriously. You need to trust to yourself that whatever you are doing is doing right. Obviously there can be errors and omission, but for that don’t hesitate to take suggestions from people around you and in you find anything good accept it and go with it.

Remember that what other people are saying, may be right in there circumstances. It may not be right for you for it may be the right thing for her. As far as the decisions are not harming the society and you in particular at large don’t get bothered and accept the others point of view also. These are some of the tips which would go to help you.

Summary: Attitude problem with any of us can ruin our life and we find life is too harsh for us to live. Sometimes, we deeply ingrained this feeling that it can’t be changed yet we strive for to change it

How Long Do You Take to prepare you're FULL-U ?

Want to know how long I really take just to prepare the thing above ?
Let me recall about 20 min .
and for the whole thing is about 1 hour and 20 min .
to polish boots, 1 hour .
to season[?] the beret is ONE WEEK .
so it took me ONE WEEK ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES ,
for the whole set to be ALL IN TIP TOP CONDITION .
hahahhahaah .
FYI, I washed it after parade
FYI, I iron it the day before all parades
FYI, I polish my boots every other day
It's really troublesome isn't ?
But it's already on my lifestyle lists .
so its not really a bother .

Well, I know it's 6 days but it's still the same isn't ?

This week has been a very busy week for me .
NDP Rehearsals I mean .
and whatever things I have larr ..
so yea , I shall talk about today and today alone .

For the past 3 days, I've been oversleeping .
I dunno why but I'm trying to wake up at 6 am sharp .
In the end, it becomes, 6.30-6.45 .
Therefore, I always rush to the LRT hoping that the LRT won't leave.
hehehehe .
so yea, today reached school at 7.30am .
10 more minutes before the bell rang .
and for whatever reason, I'm really bored every single morning .
haiixx .
Lessons was totally OK !
coz Maths lesson was replaced with the survey thing .
Recess, English, Mother Tongue and Geography came after .
Well, I'm so not free yesterday night , so I polished my boots during Mother Tongue.
Then after school, went down to look at the Teacher's Day Booth .
Then at 1.30 went up changed to Full Uniform, went to 2E5 classroom .
and CCA starts from 2.30 .
L.WEIJUN was the PC .
He said he was nervous but I think he handled his nervousness very well .

and OF COURSE ! my group defeated another group .
SUPERB men !

I was doing fine except for the fact that a NCO suddenly throw the ball at you .
UNFAIR RIGHT ! wonder who that NCO is ?
so nvm bout that ,
the last game was a relay .
GROUPED with ZALILAH, SUHAILA, IDAYU, SAKINAH and ME !
and beat the "close-to-win" team of JON, ZW, WADI, DANIEL and PASCAL .
the last runners did a great job .
BUT ZALILAH JUST RUN FASTER !
